Summary
Artificial intelligence and digital dentistry applications must be quickly implemented, which calls for international and multicentric cooperation. The TEAM project's primary objective is to ensure the host institution's research excellence in the fields of e-health and personalized dentistry by establishing a long-lasting scientific, technological, and innovation-driven network. TEAM proposes creating an effective medical platform for the application of AI tools to carry out customized dental treatments. The initiative will establish a center of excellence in Romanian dentistry and encourage young researchers to participate actively, facilitating their training in an outstanding research environment.
Specific Objectives:
TEAM will undertake the following three research directions:
O1. Development of an open-access medical imaging platform (TEAM Digital Hub) that incorporates digital protocols of personalized therapies in dentistry and a wide variety of educational materials;
O2. Creating artificial intelligence applications dedicated to digital dentistry
O3. Creating a communication environment that expedites the widespread use of artificial intelligence-based technology and cutting-edge research in dentistry practice.
