Primary neonatologist and pediatrician, doctor of medical sciences. The didactic activity consists of: internships and courses for students at the Faculty of Medicine - Romanian and English, Licensed nurses, training and education of residents through courses and internships collaborator in the master's degree , collaborator in the organization of the Obstetrics and Gynecology and Neonatology Circle, coordinator of bachelor's and dissertation papers on topics of research interest as well as current topics specific to neonatology.

Collaborator in clinical trials and international research grants, collaborator in national research projects. Development of national guidelines, national registries for various pathologies specific to the newborn. In parallel with the didactic activity, the interest for research continues, first of all the oxidative stress in the newborn, but also problems related to prematurity, asphyxia, neonatal hemodynamics.
