In the attention of teachers and students,
 
Between March 3rd and 15th, 2020, the management of the "Iuliu Haţieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy decided to continue the teaching activity online, at all three faculties (Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy), as a preventive measure, in order to reduce the epidemiological risk of spreading the infection with the new coronavirus.

All information regarding the development of the teaching process will be transmitted to the students on the study groups.

The application of this measure is necessary for several reasons, of which we mention:
- The presence of students in hospitals, where they can pick up or transmit the virus, is an important risk factor in the chain of infection.
- Young people are mild or asymptomatic, but due to their mobility they are an important factor in spreading the infection.
- The level of contagiousness is increased even in the absence of clinical manifestations.

Any new decision regarding the didactic activity will be posted on the university's website and on the InfoUtil application, which you should consult frequently.

Please look at the situation with maximum responsibility and comply with these measures. The rest of the regulations regarding the self-isolation at home for 14 days of those returning from high-risk areas remain in force. We also insist on avoiding crowded places (cinemas, restaurants, malls, etc.).

We are confident that adherence to these rules by all involved will limit the spread of infection, which is an important part of the social responsibility of our university.
