Laboratory animal facility - Centre for Experimental Medicine

The laboratory animal facility was established in 1954 in order to provide animals for teaching and research activities. It has been extensively reconditioned in 2005, in agreement with national and European recommendations for housing pure breed animals (Guinea pigs, rabbits, mice and rats), for the use of laboratories belonging to our university, or to other research institutes.
The Centre for Experimental Medicine and Practical Skills (485 square meters), established in 2005, is offering optimal conditions for conducting research on laboratory animals.
